The results for last Thursday are now posted. Click on League Standings below the gun rack picture. I was a miserable night and we have no high guns to report this week. The weather should be about 30 degrees warmer this week. Good luck everyone.
Our chicken shoot dates are now on the calendar. They will be held July 13, 2013 and September 14, 2013. Also here is the lowdown on summer league classing and high gun. The entire league shoots as a group handicapped off of the lead team with ten bird splits until after five weeks of shooting. After the fifth week the teams are handicapped and the splits will go down to 5 birds per yard off of the lead team in each class. The high gun rankings will also come out when the teams are classed and will be updated weekly. If you want to read an explanation of how we figure the high guns you can read this post from June of 2011. I hope this helps.
Summer league started once again. It has been mostly cool but there was some hot shooting in the first week of league. Congratulations to Roger Heineck for shooting a perfect 50! As usual the scores are posted weekly on the site and in the TRG. Just click on League Standings below the picture of the rack of shotguns. Congratulations to our other high guns: Travis Lindekugel 49, Pat Langfeldt 48, Dave Jacobson 48, Bucky Gardner 48, Don Zager 47, Kerry Hansen 47, Darrell Struensee 46, Jim Koski 46, and Bill Weiler 46.
The new scores are posted. Congratulations to our high guns Bill Weiler and Roger Heineck, who both shot a 46. This is a reminder to all teams. No subs scores are allowed the last two weeks of shooting. Most teams that had subs got lucky and their scores were actually better taking your regular shooter’s average. Anyway if you have questions about the scoring and what I did this last week just ask, I will be happy to explain.
The scores are up from last Thursdays shooting. There were several good scores again this week with one in particular that was excellent. Congratulations to Bill Weiler for shooting a perfect 50. It has been awhile since that has happened at the club. Here is the complete high gun list for last week. Bill Weiler 50, Ray Weyer 49, Jon Counsell 48, Roger Heineck 46, Ben Tesch 46, Pat Langfeldt 46, and Jeff Kluckhohn 46. Nice shooting.

I apologize for not getting the scores up earlier or getting them in the paper this week. I had a hard drive failure on the data drive on my computer and it took longer than anticipated to recover everything. Everything is now working and the scores and scoring sheets are done. The new standings are on the standings page. We had another good week of shooting with many high scores for teams and individuals alike. Congratulations to last weeks high guns: Jon Counsell 48, Erika Ehlers 46, Ryan Aumann 46, Rich Schroeder 46, Jim Goodbrand 46, and Rick Mews 46.
For anyone who hadn’t made it out this weekend the chicken shoot was a big success with shooting lasting all day. After shooting we had our Rock the Range event with two bands that both did an excellent job. It was a great success. We also had a great fireworks show between performances, it may have been the best one we have had yet and everyone there seemed pleased. We also raffled off our yearly cash prizes. Congratulations to all the winners.
See everyone Thursday
The new scores are up. We seemed to have an usually good night shooting. There were several 25′s and the most high guns we have had all year long. The high guns were: Pat Langfeldt 47, Joe Weyer 47, Bill Weiler 47, Jeff Kluckhohn 47, and Don Zager 46. This following week I will have the first High Gun report up at the club so everyone can see where they stand. Remember the raffle tickets are due for our drawing on the 14th.
